Since my ultimate goal is to get basically everything I know about the game onto this site in some form or another, I've gone ahead and scanned the various "extras" that we've found for Bloody Bride. I know there are some other odds and ends out there, and I may track them down eventually, but here's what we've got so far:
![]() The sticker sheet included with the game itself. Cute stock pictures from the manual (the girls are from the intro movie) and the original art. |
![]() An advertisement included with the game. It's a guidebook, but not one of the ones I detail below. It could be an early cover design for the official book below, but I'm not 100% sure. |
| (not pictured) Mini-CD "Coly's Errand Big Adventure". This also came with the game. I haven't fiddled with this much, as I can barely manage the videos. I highly doubt I'll be able to understand this for quite a while. |
![]() Oh, this is a beautiful book. It has a multi-page interview with the character designer, Yun Kouga, and alot of concept art and some stuff that didn't make it into the game, including one movie with Balse pinching Phaid's cheeks (presumably replacing or extending Balse's introduction). List price 2,427 Yen. ISBN 4-8470-2452-4 Oh yeah, I had to scale this image down to fit nicely on the page. Click it to get the full size scan. |
![]() Forgiving the terrible job I did scanning this in 4 pieces and sewing them back together, this poster came with the art book. Maybe I can convince my wife to redo this for me, she's much better at it than I am. Like the art book itself, I had to scale this image down to fit the page. Click it to get the full size scan. |
![]() An unofficial guide book from Aspect. It's pretty and all, but for some reason, when they're listing all the answers for the dates, you only get Seira, Erika and Anna. Lilicca and Karen are inexplicably missing as well as 3 of the 12 sub-girls! List price was 880 yen. ISBN 4-89366-666-5. |
![]() The official guide book from Atlus. Needless to say, I prefer this cover... :-). Anyway, it's all here. All the girls, all the items, it's all good. The only mistake I've found (and I'm really nitpicking here) is that there's a picture of the Rafureshia in the Fairy Princess's stat box. The only reason I note it is that the picture of the Fairy Princess in the art book is unbelievable. As a bonus, there are some mini-comics in the back that I'll eventually translate. List price was 980 yen. ISBN 4-06-329273-8. |
| (not pictured) This is a combination soundtrack and "drama CD", with a cover that looks like the game's, but with a red bar on the left. The "drama" part is a collection of short stories, somewhat like Coly's Errand Big Adventure. I nabbed one from Yahoo Japan, but since I suck at hearing Japanese, I can't tell you what the stories are about. :-) |
![]() A promo poster that I guess was used in stores, not released for sale. I've seen a couple of these on Japanese auction sites, but haven't found the right price yet. Not to mention the same picture is inside the front cover of the official players guide. We may still get it if the price is right. |
